This was the very first wedding cake I made. The colors for the wedding were purple and green. I made a three-tiered cake with each tier placed on a cake rack.

The cake was for the bride and groom to cut with plenty extra for them and their families to take home. It was a moist yellow cake with buttercream frosting. The embellishments were not edible but easily removable. There were cupcakes served for all the guests.
